Our Mission

Highland Organics was established in 1990 for the purpose of supplying organic quinoa from Bolivia.  The organic quinoa that we handle is grown in the Uyuni region in the southern part of Bolivia. The variety that we handle is “Quinoa Real” and it is larger than most other varieties in the market. We are committed to adhere to the principle of Fair Trade and we strive to purchase all of our organic quinoa from farmer owned Co-ops in Bolivia.

Our warehouse is in the United States located in Hayward, California, which permits easy access to most parts of the country. Our main office is located in Watsonville, California. In the coming years, we will expand our product base to include even more organic products and continue supporting Bolivian farmers.
